About Me

I'm Siva Rajadurai. I lead cloud, data, and AI platform engineering at Humana, where my org builds the platforms the rest of the enterprise runs on — the Azure & GCP foundation, Relational, NoSQL & Cache Databases, Databricks and Snowflake, orchestration, and the governance layer that keeps it all trustworthy under healthcare regulation.

I've been building platforms since 2009. What still holds my attention is the part most people find tedious: the operating model. Anyone can stand up a platform. Getting hundreds of engineers to use it well, safely, and without a central team becoming the bottleneck — that's the actual problem, and it's mostly an organizational one wearing a technical costume.

This site is where I work through that in public. Architecture decisions, what they cost, and what I'd do differently.
